About the game :
Maelstrom: The Battle For Earth Begins is a real—time isometric strategy game in a sci-fi setting. For some fifty years, the Earth, striving for an alluring future, was one step away from destruction, engulfed by environmental disasters, global war and the collapse of human civilization. In this devastated world, the dwindling resources of the planet have divided what is left of humanity in two: urban freedom fighters, "Remnants", and the technologically advanced Ascension Corporation. Now they have to confront a new threat, the invasion of cruel aliens, the Hi-Gentry, without stopping the desperate internecine war for supremacy and survival.
